DerbySoft has closed its second round of venture capital funding in the amount of US$5 million.
This capital infusion will enable the company to further develop its connectivity solutions and its global network of hotel suppliers and distribution channels. Despite the challenging economy, Derbysoft's advanced DSwitch technology and its unique business model attracted the investment. Ted Zhang, DerbySoft's CEO, commented, 'As hotel distribution continues to evolve, our investors believe that DerbySoft's two-pronged approach of addressing problems for both the supplier and the distributor at low cost gives the company an important role in the distribution landscape.'
