NaturCert will attend the International Tourism Forum on the 24th and 25th October in Rhodes |

NaturCert is the global independent organisation which has developed the NaturCert Certification Program for the environment and society. Today NaturCert is proud to announce that NaturCert will attend the International Tourism Forum on the 24th and 25th of October 2008 in Rhodes, Greece. |
The 3rd International Rhodes Tourism Forum is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dodecanese, APEPDO (Association for the Development and Progress of the Dodecanese) and the Tourism Research Body of the C.C.I Dodecanese. The International Tourism Forum in 2008 will provide answers to the challenges of the globalized tourism market with the theme 'Managing Change in Tourism Destinations: Strategies and Actions'.
Main issues of the Forum will be: the climate change, the environmental burden in combination with the carry capacity of the tourism destinations and the progress in new technologies (web 2.0). In addition issues such as changes in holiday lifestyle, company's social responsibility in hospitality and tourism sector, and emerging markets in tourism industry will be addressed.
NaturCert always supports and participates in initiatives and discussions regarding the developments in the tourism industry. Further, the issues that will be addressed at the Forum are inextricable part of NaturCert's policy and strategy. NaturCert through the NaturCert Certification Program and its public initiatives and activities aims at addressing issues such as social and environmental responsibility and raising public awareness.
