MGM National Harbor, a subsidiary of MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM), today filed a proposal for a license from the State of Maryland Video Lottery Facility Location Commission to develop a world-class destination resort in Prince George's County.

The European Travel Commission (ETC) announced that the first quarterly report on European Tourism in 2013 - Trends & Prospects has just been published. In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy was up 0.1 percent to 62.7 percent, average daily rate rose 3.7 percent to US$109.93 and revenue per available room increased 3.8 percent to US$68.94.

In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy was down 0.6 percent to 62.7 percent, average daily rate rose 2.7 percent to US$110.14 and revenue per available room increased 2.1 percent to US$69.07.

In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy rose 0.9 percent to 64.5 percent, average daily rate was up 1.5 percent to CAD$130.11 and revenue per available room increased 2.4 percent to CAD$83.92.

The summer season as defined by STR comprises June, July and August. When comparing against those three months combined in 2012, STR predicts occupancy for those three months will rise 1.0 percent to 70.0 percent, average daily rate will increase 4.4 percent to US$112.21 and revenue per available room will grow 5.4 percent to US$78.50.
